Lockout devices for every mechanical and electrical danger

Lockout devices for every mechanical and electrical danger
A Lockout-Tagout device prevents machines and equipment from being energized by keeping an energy-isolating device in a safe position. This safeguards workers from accidental restarts during machine maintenance and cleaning activities.

Different hazards and energy sources ask for different Lockout devices, but what’s universal is that every lockout device has to be placed on the isolation point of the energy source, locked with a safety padlock and marked with a safety tag.

Lockout-tagout-shop offers lockout devices for both mechanical as well as electrical dangers.

Universal cable Lockouts
Universal cable lockouts are available in various designs, cable lengths and materials. Cable lockouts are always fitted with multiple padlock holes and are used in combination with safety padlocks. There are cable lockouts, especially for mechanical hazards, these have a coated steel cable. Cable lockout devices for electrical hazards are equipped with a nylon non-conductive cable.

Universal cable lockouts are being used more and more frequently to lockout different types of valves.

Lockout devices for electrical dangers
Electrical lockout devices are used to isolate electrical energy sources during maintenance and to prevent an accidental restart. These lockouts are available for almost every type of circuit breaker. Lockouts for electrical dangers are for the most part made of non-conductive materials and should be secured with a non-conductive safety padlock.

Lockout devices for valves
All of our valve lockouts ensure the complete blockage of energy during maintenance and cleaning activities. Besides the various types and sizes of traditional valve lock-outs for valve types such as gate valves, handwheel valves, pressurized gas valves, gas cylinders and plug valves.

Lockout devices for ball valves
Ball valves can be locked in an open or closed position with a padlockable ball valve lock-out. As there is a wide variety in types and sizes of different ball valves, universal lockouts are also a great option.

Pneumatic lockouts
With lockouts for pneumatic fittings, it can easily be prevented to connect different air lines. Universal pneumatic locking devices are designed to fit multiple different fitting types. When working with a pneumatic lockout, it is important to always be aware of any residual or stored energy.

Confined space covers
In most cases, access to confined spaces requires a work permit and barrier tape. For extra safety, it is recommended that access to confined spaces is blocked off and locked. To prevent containment in confined spaces and manholes you can use a confined space cover. Confined space covers can optionally be locked with a safety padlock and fitted with a symbol warning print and are available in a lockable and non-lockable (elastic) version.

Blind flange Lockouts
Blind flange Lockouts are used during maintenance on pipelines. As long as the blind flange lockout is attached to the bolts between the pipe sections, they cannot be dismantled so that the blind flange cannot be inserted or removed. Blind flange lockouts are available for different bolt sizes and distances between the bolts. Each size has a range in between which all non-standard bolt sizes and distances will fit.
