New Brady portable label printers M610, M611, M710

The 6th of April it is finally time! Brady releases new portable label printers for the workplace. Brady has renewed their existing models with more advanced portable label printers. Take a look at the new M610, M611, and M710.

With the three new models you will be able to print the labels of your choice even faster. The portable printers are not only faster, they are more user-friendly. With a light weighing lithium-ion battery it will be easier to take your Brady label printer to the desired destination. Including a re-envisioned LCD Touchscreen, you are suited with all the ease. The label printers print by using thermal transfer, and they can print up to 4500 labels with a full battery.

Brady created the M610, M611, and M710 to print labels for wires and cables, datacom, harsh environments, components and equipment, and safety and facility.

Brady Express Labels app

The re-envisioned models, M610, M611, and M710 (with Bluetooth or Wifi) are compatible with the Brady Express Labels application. Through this app you can design labels, save them, share them, and of course print them. Import data from spreadsheets, get the real-time printer status, and look at previews before you print. With 10 label design guides, 85 different fonts, and more than 1400 symbols, you can get to working in 30 different languages on your Android or Apple device. The Brady Express Labels app is free of charge.

But, what are the differences between the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ models?

Since this is different for each model, the three models will be discussed individually.

The M610

The pace of the M610 has risen compared to the BMP61, the print speed of the BMP61 is 33.78 mm/s, the print speed has almost doubled for the new model. The print speed of the new Brady portable label printer, M610 is 50.8 millimeter per second. Additionally, the new M610 model is resistant to a fall of 1.8 meters high, compared to the old model only being resistant to 1.2 meters. The Wi-Fi function which was available for the old model has been changed to an optional Bluetooth* function on the new M610, which works with the Brady Express Labels app.

The M611

With a faster and stronger Bluetooth connection the new M611 by Brady is able to have 5 devices connected at the same time. Furthermore the M611 portable label printer is resistant to military grade shocks (MIL-STD-810G). In addition this model includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through which it can connect to the Brady Express Label app, the M611 is compatible with desktop software** as well.

The M710

Just like the M610, the print speed of the new M710 its former model, the BMP71. The print speed of the new M710 portable label printer is 76 millimeter per second. Integrated into the M710 is a new automatic cutter. Additionally, the M710 is now compatible with 6 new materials. Just like the other two, this model can be used in combination with the Brady Express Label app* and the desktop software**.

All models include the option to store more than 1000 designs, this way you can design labels, and print them on the spot.

*The Brady Express Label application works only with the models including Bluetooth connection

Accessories

There are accessories available for the portable printers. Two accessories have been renewed/are new. A battery and a hardened case. The new lithium-ion battery has more capacity (2700 mAh), is lighter, and has the same speed as when the printer is plugged into the charger. The new carriable case, is a hardened, sturdy case, with metal locks, decked out in the signature Brady blue color. Next to those accessories a few other will be available. Like, magnets, shoulder bags, and clean kits.
